The artist is in God’s favor.
At the BET Hip Hop awards which aired earlier this month, Chance won best new Hip Hop artist of the year.
According to Twitter, he couldn’t make it, but he left a message via social media.
I wish I was at @BET #HipHopAwards to accept my first award ever. My acceptance speech woulda been "Glory to God, Stay Black. *HUGE SMILE*"
