As America at large focused on election 2016 and its results, this family was making an epic move and welcomed two children formally into their kin.
The California family brought home 3-year-old Veronica and 1-year-old Preston last week.
A move that happened originally in December 2015 when the family showed interest in fostering a child, but the family of five found two.
In response to the new additions which brought the two children formally together, mother, Autumn Scudder said that her and her husband wanted to expand their family of five by having another baby, but for health reasons they were not able too.

“I had always wished we had been able to have a son, too.”
“So when we found out Veronica and her new brother needed a home, there was no hesitation in our emphatic yes,” Autumn told Buzzfeed of adopting after meeting the kids in December 2015.
Once the family made a decision to do so, one of the three daughters, 17-year-old, Kylie, shared her joy with social media and it caught on.

The family also received a pleasant reaction from the community which included gifts and a welcome home party thrown for the group of seven once the adoption went through last week and the two little children became official members.
Autumn said, “Honestly, these kids have brought so much joy, love, happiness, fun, and adventure into our home… Any minor struggles we’ve had while learning how to function as a family of seven are completely eclipsed by the happiness they’ve brought to us.”
