XXX Church, a ministry that works to combat pornography and help foster positive relationships, has released a list of “four things married men should never do” — a blog post intended to help men achieve matrimonial bliss.
The points of advice? First, XXX Church warns men not to be “emotionally vulnerable with a member of the opposite sex,” urging guys to beware before confiding too closely with women. While the blog post said opposite-sex friendships are perfectly fine, ministry founder Craig Gross said to be wary of emotional vulnerability, which could lead elsewhere.

The second point of advice was to avoid keeping score, warning that doing so can absolutely kill intimacy.
“Keeping score is great when you’re playing actual games, but a terrible thing to do in marriage,” Gross wrote. “You and your spouse are in this together, meaning you either both win or you both lose. Grow up.”
Third, XXX Church warned against men trying to “fix” their wives, instead encouraging them to listen and be confidants who women can trust; even when their wives vent aloud, Gross said it’s important not to step in and try to be a fixer.
Last — but certainly not least — the post encourages men to do “the little things” for their wives, and not to abandon the small acts of romance that may women tend to appreciate.
“You have to keep doing that stuff to let your wife know you still cherish her and respect her and have a desperate desire to continue surprising her, even after all these years,” Gross wrote.
