Coldplay frontman Chris Martin honored one of the musical greats, George Michael, this past holiday season at a UK homeless shelter.
The star went to Crisis to offer up some holiday entertainment cheer.
In the short video, the ex-husband of Gwyneth Paltrow performed a wonderful tribute to George Michael with the Crisis’ King of Karaoke, Kevin.
So far the minute and a half video has been shared by over 600,000.
Homelessness effects thousands in the United States and across the pond. According to the organization, one in three have suffered violence while homeless in the small country.
According to The National Alliance to End Homelessness January 2015 statistic, there is an estimated 564,708 people that are homeless on a given night of the week across America.
“Of that number, 206,286 were people in families, and 358,422 were individuals. About 15 percent of the homeless population – 83,170 – are considered “chronically homeless” individuals.”
