The 52-year-old veteran television anchor is bubbling with joy over her new family addition. The details related to when Kotb decided to adopt have not been released, but the Tuesday morning announcement made it clear that the new mother spent time in prayer before making it.
Sharing, “Be still my heart. My prayers have been answered.”

Kotb shared news about Haley Joy when she called in to share what she’s been up to since she’s been out of the “office” Saying to her Today show team that, “I do have something to tell you, but you know what, how about this, instead of telling you, I’m going to show you something.”
“That little girl, Haley Joy — I’m crying — is my daughter.”
“I adopted her, and you can hear her, that’s her crying. She’s a Valentine’s baby. She’s a little nugget. She is the love of my life,” Kotb shared with her anchors on live television.
Thousands of children are up for adoption every year just like Haley Joy.
According to the National Adoption Center, an estimated 241,254 children exited the foster care system in 2012 with no family or home to speak of.
So that means almost a quarter million children were in desperate need of love. If you or someone you know has thought about adoption, there are plenty of agencies available for informational interviews.
Christian adoption agency, Bethany is one example. The virtue oriented company dedicated to matching the right families and children together all over the world is an excellent resource to those interested in finding out more information about the placement process.
