In an era of increasing uncertainty and debate surrounding the American education system, scores of families have turned to homeschooling in search of a better option.
And that’s just one of the essential topics our panel recently tackled on “Pure Talk” — an online culture and entertainment show brought to you by Pure Flix and Faithwire, with panelists Lauren McAfee and Ruth Malhotra dispelling some of the myths and misconceptions surrounding homeschooling.

“There’s a lot of common misconceptions and stereotypes out there that still exist today,” Malhotra said. “But I think we’re making progress as we just share our experiences, the joys and the rewards.”
McAfee explained why she loves being a homeschool advocate, while Malhotra said that — despite some people thinking she was in a bubble as a homeschool student — she believes she was actually experiencing more of the world than some of her peers were.
