It’s no secret that Michael Bublé‘s young son, Noah, has bravely battled cancer since November, with the singer and his family releasing statements in recent months about how God has sustained them as they’ve navigated difficult waters.
But Bublé‘s wife, Luisana Lopilato, spoke out in a more candid fashion at a press event on Tuesday — her first public, in-person remarks about Noah since his diagnosis — detailing how her faith has helped her cope with the 3 year old’s cancer treatment and recovery, proclaiming, “Thank God, my son is well.” Noah recently underwent chemotherapy.

Lopilato made the comments about Noah while promoting her new movie “Those Who Love, Hate” in Buenos Aires, revealing that the harrowing health battle has led her to value life much more fervently, according to People.
“My faith in the fact God had a miracle helped me. I became strong so my son would get better,” she said. “I transmitted that to all my friends and family. Seeing Noah grow and being happy gave me the strength to return and finish this film.”
Despite her decision to talk about it, Lopilato admitted that the subject is difficult to discuss.
“It’s difficult for me to speak about this, it’s very recent and I’m still a bit sensitive about the subject,” she said. “My son’s recovery is a long process as you all know and he has to continue with checkups. But we are very happy. We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow.”
Noah will continue to receive check-ups, though Lopilato’s message was overwhelmingly positive about the child’s future health prospects, as the Daily Express noted.

Faithwire reported last month that Noah had reportedly just finished four months of chemotherapy, with his uncle, actor Dario Lopilato, calling his nephew’s swift health improvement a “miracle from God.”
“For me, it’s very difficult to talk about,” he told Argentinian newspaper La Nacion. “But I believe in God and sought comfort in Jesus Christ and a miracle from God came, from the way it was discovered, after the operation, everything.”
