Singer Beckah Shae decided to give Ed Sheeran’s megapopular song “Shape of You” a makeover — and the results are pretty stunning.
After tweaking the songs lyrics about love and focusing them more on things eternal, Shae transformed the tune into a Christian-themed anthem. She recently unveiled the final product on her YouTube page.

“The club isn’t the best place to find a lover, so to you is where I go,” Shae sings at the start of the song, going on to belt out, “I can’t say enough how you laid down your life so we could be free, so now I’m going to follow your lead, come on now and follow his lead.”

Shae has been performing Christian music for the past decade, forming her own record label alongside her husband Jack Shocklee.
Through Shae Shoc Records she continues to produce her own music, while also reimagining what popular mainstream hits would sound like if they were actually Christian tunes.
