Abortion has become so prevalent in our society that it is often seen as nothing more than a minor clinical procedure, but do abortionists really believe they’re only discarding a ‘clump of cells’?
A powerful new video from Lila Rose, the president of pro-life group Live Action provides us with a number of utterly shocking quotes from the mouths of those carrying out abortive procedures.
“These quotes from abortionists themselves reveal they know abortion kills an innocent life,” Rose declared in the caption to the video, which has received over 2,500 shares.
“There is no difference between a first, second, or third trimester abortion or infanticide. It’s all the same human being,” one abortionist is quoted as saying. “[Abortion is] an enormous destructive process,” another added.
They get worse. Just read these devastating words from Dr. Stojan Adasevic: “Nobody could have seen what I had seen with my very own eyes and been more convinced than I was, that I had killed a human being.”
Still, the heartbreaking quotes continue “I looked squarely in the face of another human being… that i’d just killed” – Dr. Paul Jarrett. “I think abortion is the destruction of something which is potentially irreplaceable, human and of great value,” declared Bertram Wainer.
Much of the abortion debate comes down to the issue of personhood. Is a developing fetus an actual person yet? Many of the proponents of abortive practices would argue “no.” Indeed, many would go further to assert that the terminating of an unborn child is nothing more than removed an unwanted part of a woman’s body. But what do the abortionists in this video think of fetal personhood?
“There is simply no doubt that even the early embryo is a human being,” stated Dr. Bernard Nathanson. And what about it being “murder”? Many recoil at the uttering of such harsh language to describe an abortion. But one abortionist in the video sees it as just that. “Am I killing? Yes I am. I know that,” said Curtis Boyd.
Dr. Kathi Aultman went even further:
“I was horrified by the realization that I had killed more people than most mass murderers,” she stated.
This is no small issue. In 2014, a staggering 652,639 legal induced abortions were reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Some 323,999 of those were conducted by abortion business Planned Parenthood. Astonishingly, abortion rates are relatively low in the United States in comparison to the past 50 years. In the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s, over 1 million babies were aborted every single year.
One of the abortionists featured in this devastating video compares America’s abortion epidemic to a brutal war on the unborn. “Abortion is hand-to-hand combat with an innocent third party, said Dr. John Bruchalski, who has since quit his practice and opened up a pro-life clinic.
His clinic, which cares for pregnant women and provides them with an alternative to termination, opened a new facility in Virginia in March of 2017.
The new space is “a perfect complement to not only helping people find good options in behavior and in health and with their families” but also showing patients “that there’s light and that there’s joy and that there’s clarity,” said Bruchalski, as reported by LifeSite News.
After performing abortions in his medical residency, he had a change of heart after a powerful moment of spiritual conviction. Bruchalski said that he would never have imagined to be running a pro-life clinic equipped with an on-site chapel, but that God “picks the weakest instruments” to do His will.
“The emphasis of pro-life medicine … has always been bringing Jesus Christ back as the divine physician. That’s what we call restorative or restoration in medicine. It’s a Renaissance. It’s actually a renewal. And only Jesus Christ can do that,” Bruchalski continued. “We wanna be instruments of mercy.”

John is also acutely aware of the fierce opposition from those who seek to enshrine abortion as a fundamental human right and from those advocate for termination an appropriate option in all cases of unwanted pregnancy.
“We have to be a light on a hill to those coming after us,” said Bruchalski. “They’re in a world where abortion is considered ‘excellent, necessary’ healthcare. And we have to fight that tooth and nail as we go forward.”
