The video, captured by pro-life group Students for Life of America, was taken from high above the procession and shows the power of the multitudes who showed up to make a peaceful statement about abortion.

“This is the real women’s march, a march for women born and pre-born. The Women’s March organizers fail to present a broad agenda that empowers women across the board by insisting that abortion advocacy is a requirement for all,” Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, said in a statement.
She continued, “But this generation sees abortion as a human rights issue and has lived with the consequences of abortion on demand their entire lives. They know that pregnancy is not a disease cured by abortion and that abortion creates new problems for the women who are convinced to get one.”
As Faithwire previously reported, the 2018 March for Life was historic in that it was the first-time a sitting president addressed the event via video. And President Donald Trump came out strong against abortion during his speech, taking pointed aim at late-term abortion, which he said is “wrong” and must change.
“Roe vs. Wade has resulted in some of the most permissive abortion laws anywhere in the world,” he said, lamenting locations in the U.S. that allow late-term abortion “in the ninth month” of a woman’s pregnancy. “It is wrong. It has to change.”
Trump also spoke about the “miracle” of life, praising the love that can be seen between mothers and their newborn babies. Read more about it and see his speech here.
