Two of the cops grabbed what appeared to be a blanket and rushed under where the boy was positioned.
But when little Ammar Motaz Abd El-Salam fell, it was Officer Kameel Fathy Geed, 45, who saved him with mere outstretched arms just before the child hit the ground, Fox News reported.
The cops were hailed as heroes after security footage captured their stunning efforts. Watch it all unfold below:
Ammar was miraculously uninjured in the incident; video of what unfolded was released by Egypt’s Ministry of the Interior.
The little boy was at a party with his family and somehow stumbled out of the window when the potentially deadly incident unfolded, according to CBS News.
“Thank God he survived it safely, and we thank the security,” the grateful mom of the little boy said.
