Hateful Westboro protesters were no match for a fleet on “angels” protecting the funerals of Orlando shooting victims over the weekend.
The angel customs, donated by the Angel Action Network and the Orlando Shakespeare Company were donated in response to threats from the Westboro Baptist Church. Volunteers wore the costumes and used their giant angel wings to block view of the protesters, and chanted “We love you!” and “Orlando strong!” to drown out anti-gay chants.

A nice reminder that when good people work together, hate can’t win.
