Roles were reversed when a 9-year Minnesota girl was forced to step up and report her parents drug use and marijuana plant growth to police officials.
The unidentified child walked into a local police station and spelled out the problem by saying her parents constant pot smoking ways were making her sick. She was also worried the pets were getting sick from it, too.
In response, officers searched the home and found marijuana plants as well as meth positive odds and ends.
Officer Ryan Beattie told The Minnesota based paper, the Star Tribune, that this young lady was a very brave, very smart, very articulate little girl.
He also added that, when she came in, “It was almost like interviewing an adult. She appeared to have intelligence far above a normal little girl … [and] she gave some pretty specific information about things, like types of drug paraphernalia, that no young person ought to have knowledge about.”
The story was originally reported some time ago but is just now going viral. At the time the story first broke, charges had not been filed against the child’s parents and the young girl had been placed with grandparents.
