At this year’s Black Entertainment Television (BET) Hip Hop awards, soulful rapper Lecrae used his voice, to speak out his truth in the form of spoken word.
The segment made references to a series of hot button topics like presidential hopeful candidate statements, Native American land struggles and a nod to American historical ones like slavery.

Take a look at the lyrical language used by the Faith based hip hopper:
They telling us, ‘Make America great again’
I’m like, ‘Hold up, when was America great again?’Was it when they took us from our native land?
Or maybe it was when they took the Natives’ land
The live performance that was tapped in advance of the air date, came on cable television screens earlier this Month.
The crowd also had some comments to share about it.
