Grammy-winning a cappella group Pentatonix is getting us in the Christmas spirit early with its cover of “Hallelujah,” which has gone viral in just three days since its release.
The official video for “Hallelujah” has received almost 7 million views and counting since it was first posted to YouTube on Friday. The song appears on the Texas group’s 2016 holiday album “A Pentatonix Christmas.”
Along with the chilling vocal performances came a stunning music video, shot in a subdued desert landscape.
The album features 11 more quintessential Christmas songs, including Irving Berlin’s classic “White Christmas,” Bing Cosby’s “I’ll be Home for Christmas” and NSYNCs 90s cult classic, “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.”
