A pro-life feminist recently sat down with Independent Journal Review to discuss why she believes “feminists are the future of the pro-life movement.” Destiny Herndon-De La Rosa, founder of New Wave Feminists, also shared her own personal story.

“My mom got pregnant with me at the university of Texas when she was 19 years old,” she said in a recent video interview. “She knew that I already existed and I was a living human being, and she’s going to forever be my hero because of that.”
La Rose continued, “All that she sacrificed for me so that I could live — that to me is true feminist strength.”
