New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is arguably the greatest NFL quarterback of all time, but after deflate-gate and spy-gate he’s also had his share of controversy and critics. But after he led the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history, even Brady haters couldn’t help but be moved by relationship he has with his mother, who is battling health issues.
These Super Bowl Players Share a ‘Love for the Bible’ — Watch Them Explain
Gaylnn loves watching her son play football but due to health reasons she’s been unable to watch his games from the field – but he managed to muster the strength to make it to this Super Bowl. She couldn’t have picked a better game to go and see in person.
Media reports have stated that his sick mother has been battling cancer for the past 18 months and has been in intensive radiation and chemotherapy treatments to fight off the disease.

The Feb. 5th game was the first one she’s been able to attend all season.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft spoke to Brady before the game about his mother and how important it was for him to win the game in her honor.
Kraft told local media after Super Bowl 51 that,”I spoke to (Tom Brady) in the locker room before the game, and I said,’we’ve got to win this one from your mom.'”
“I know how important his mom is, and she’s been going through chemotherapy and radiation, and this is the first game she’s come to. She came here.”
The five time Super Bowl player couldn’t be happier that his mother was able to watch him play and win another big game. Even though this one was filled with more emotion than usual because of her illness.
Brady’s mother told a local ABC station that “I was just praying. All I did was pray, the whole game, just pray” because she wanted her son to win big.
Her prayers were clearly answered!
