Just one month after publicly announcing her pregnancy, singer Charlotte Church has shared through her official Twitter account that she and longtime boyfriend Jonathan Powell have lost their unborn baby.
“Charlotte and Jonny are very sad to announce that they lost their baby. Now is a time for grieving and being together as a family,” the singer’s Twitter account read on Monday. “We kindly ask everyone to respect that peace.”

Church, 31, is a mother of two and was reportedly set to deliver her third child in November.
Fans were quick to respond with well-wishes, pledges to pray for Church and her family and other touching messages of encouragement. Some women also shared that they, too, had gone through the same loss, and provided their advice on how to cope.
Here are just some of the responses:
Very sorry to hear this devastating news.
