U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-SC) has released a new campaign ad pledging to work diligently to ensure that President Donald Trump’s now-infamous border wall becomes a reality.
Brooke, who said in the ad titled, “Build the Wall,” that Trump promised to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border to keep Americans safe and to protect U.S. jobs, detailed his potential plan to combat unsuitable spending bills — and it involves the Bible.

“Elect me to the Senate and I’ll fight every spending bill that doesn’t fund that wall,” he proclaims in a recently released ad. “And if I have to filibuster on the Senate floor, I’ll even read the King James Bible until the wall is funded.”
He continued, “And you know what? Washington could benefit from that.”
