A heartwarming moment between Garth Brooks and a brave fan at a recent concert touched the lives of all those in attendance, and now the tearjerking interaction is going viral on social media. During a performance on his world tour last month, the country music star appeared to be nearing the end of his set, when he noticed a woman in front of the stage holding a sign that stopped him in his tracks.

“Chemo this morning. Garth tonight. Enjoying the dance,” the poster board read.
Fittingly, Brooks was in the midst of singing his poignant song “The Dance,” when he spotted the fan, who had a bright pink scarf tied around her head. He promptly sat down on the edge of the stage, reached out his hands, and motioned for her to come closer. He handed her his guitar and took her powerful sign, before sharing a warm embrace.
Clearly emotional, Brooks then returned to the center of the stage, looking up toward the sky. He then shared with the audience that he is often “one of the guys” that wishes God would “get a big old hand that comes down from the sky and writes, ‘I exist’” as to eliminate any “doubt.”
In that moment, however, he was 100 percent certain of God’s existence, power, and love.
“Well, I want to tell you right now, God just stuck his hand out,” Brooks proclaimed.
Turning his attention back to the woman in the crowd, he praised her courage, reminded her that everyone in the arena was pulling for her, and offered one final request before leaving the stage.
“You have everybody screaming in here,” he concluded. “You go kick cancer’s a**.”
