Houston police officers and first responders continue to work around the clock to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey, which means many of these heroes aren’t able to be home with their families.

And one cop who had to work on his birthday this week was caught on video getting visibly emotional when his little girl called to sing him “Happy Birthday” over the phone.
The tender moment was shared on the Houston Police Department’s official Twitter page and on KHOU-TV’s Facebook page, where it quickly amassed tens of thousands of views.
“When #HurricaneHarvey keeps you from home on your birthday, you’re serenaded over the phone by your daughter,” the caption reads.
