Actor Harrison Ford, who is known for iconic action-hero roles in movies like “Star Wars” and Indiana Jones,” reportedly became a real-life hero this weekend when he stopped to help a woman who ran her car off of a California highway.

According to TMZ, the incident unfolded in Santa Paula, California, on Saturday, with Ford, who was driving behind the woman, immediately pulling over and helping her after she veered off into an embarkment.

Ford and others helped get the woman out of the vehicle before paramedics arrived on the scene.
Luckily, the woman only had minor injuries, the entertainment outlet reported.
This isn’t the first time Ford has jumped into action, as Entertainment Today noted that he started directing traffic in New York City back in September after cars were stalled at a tunnel.
Ford is also no stranger to scary accidents and situations himself, as he was hurt in 2015 when his plane had to make a crash landing in California — and he again had a close call with a plane that he was operating in 2017, as The Daily Mail reported.
It’s always nice to see celebrities like Ford willing to stop and lend a helping hand when needed.
