A commuter who witnessed Monday’s explosion at Port Authority bus terminal in New York City said that the act of terror left her believing in God.

“If I didn’t believe in God, I believe in God today,” Christina Bathea, 29, told ABC News.
Bathea, who traveled into New York City from Yonkers, New York, said that she heard a bang and observed smoke before fleeing the scene. The attack left the terminal in chaos and led to evacuations of several subway lines.
The 27 y/o suspect, Akayed Ullah, was wearing an improvised explosion device attached to his body and he intentionally detonated it.

The suspect, Akayed Ullah, was apprehended on the scene. He sustained injuries from the explosion and was transported to a hospital. Four other people suffered minor injuries.

As Faithwire previously reported, sources are identifying the alleged terror suspect responsible for the blast as Akayed Ullah, a 27-year-old, ISIS-inspired man living in Brooklyn.

Ullah purportedly set off a pipe bomb that was described as an “effectively low-tech device.” Ullah was wounded during the attack, and is reportedly the only person to have sustained more serious injuries.
Four others suffered headaches and ringing in the ears, among other minor injuries, Fox News reported.
