When it comes to “good guys” in the NFL, New Orleans Saints veteran quarterback Drew Brees is at the top of list. With braille walls, swings outfitted with special harnesses, and wheelchair accessible play areas, the new park is not your average jungle gym. As the Saints shared on social media, the Super Bowl-winning QB and his family teamed up with Audubon Nature to create the “inclusive playground” that includes “play features for children of all abilities, including those with mobility and sensory challenges.”
For the opening event, Brees posed for pictures with excited kids and their parents, who are no doubt grateful to have a fun and safe space to play in.
