The Kentucky All State Choir has absolutely stunned guests at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Louisville after they broke into a beautiful rendition of the national anthem.
Garrett Mager, a traveler from Frankfort, was staying at the hotel when the incredible performance took place. He managed to capture the stunning moment on video.
“I was sleeping in my room and then all of sudden I’m woken up by this racket and a bunch of kids,” Mager told Courier Journal. “I went outside on the balcony and asked them what they were doing and they said they were getting ready to sing the national anthem. So I watched and it was incredible.”
His clip went viral, garnering over 740,000 shares and millions of views.

Reportedly, KEMA has been doing the “Star-Spangled Banner” singing tradition at the Hyatt Regency for years.
“All credit goes to the kids to showcase their vocal abilities and skills,” Mager said. “They’ve probably worked really hard all year to get to this point and to be recognized on this kind of level is remarkable.”
Mager said the performance was a stunning reminder of the common ground Americans can share through their citizenship and love of their nation.
“This video touched all people of different places, religions, and ethnic backgrounds,” Mager said. “It doesn’t matter if you’re a Republican or a Democrat … It was truly an American moment.”
“And if the hair on the back of your neck doesn’t rise you must be dead,” one person wrote on Twitter. “They’ve done this for years and it makes me so proud to be a citizen of this beautiful country as well as to remember all of our veterans, both past and present of their sacrifice for all of us!”
