New mom Claire Reid got quite the surprise as she doted over her adorable 13-month-old daughter..
In a video taken last month, Reid lovingly holds her baby girl, Ellie, taking in every babble the infant makes.

As the pair exchanges affectionate glances, Reid says to her her daughter, “I love you.”
Reid is then shocked when her daughter appears to reply, “I love you,” right back to her.
The baby’s father, Grant Reid, told the U.K.’s Daily Record that he was stunned when his wife sent him the video. Family and friends shared that reaction, he said.
“Claire is always interacting with Ellie and she always talks to her but this is the first time Ellie has responded,” the father said.
The seemingly innocuous phrase is even more amazing considering that babies tend to begin uttering their first words, often “mama” or “dada,” at about 6 months old, according to Baby Center.
Babies don’t tend to begin stringing complete sentences until about 18 months to 2 years of age, the parenting advice website said.
Looks like the Glasgow couple may have quite the talker on her hands!
