A Massachusetts firefighter now shares a birthday with a baby he helped deliver.
On Wednesday morning, members of the Easton Volunteer Fire Company were called to aid a woman who was in labor, WFTX reported.
However, the woman barely made it into the ambulance when her baby girl decided she wanted to make an appearance into the world.
Firefighter Tom Baker was celebrating his own birthday that day – but it soon became clear he was about to share a birthday with a new little one – they had to deliver the baby right then and there.

Mom and baby were then taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton and are doing well.
Fire Chief Kevin Patridge honored the firefighters who assisted in the birth by giving them pink stork pins.
Patridge said expressed pride over the actions of his firefighters.
“I’m proud of these firefighters for their quick response and assistance in helping this woman deliver a healthy baby girl,” Patridge said in a statement. “We are glad to hear that both mom and baby are doing well!”
