Barely a week after the media bent over backwards to vilify Israel for attempting to defend their borders, mortar fire rained down into Israel from Gaza and pummeled a Kindergarten.
Here’s Why Israel Used Lethal Force During Mass Protests in Gaza Today
It has been described as the “heaviest mortar barrage in years” and has been ongoing throughout much of the day. Thankfully, the mortar that exploded near the Kindergarten happened prior to school, so no one was there.

You can hear the children inside playing as the spokesman gives his assessment of the situation – pretty remarkable that even though their school was shelled by a mortar, they still had school. This is a clear indication of just how desensitized Israelis are to these sorts of ongoing attacks from inside Gaza.
Israel responded with force, launching air strikes on several militant locations.
