A group of angry lesbians stormed to the front of a major LGBT pride festival Sunday to protest against transgenderism. The eight lesbians who staged the protest allegedly belong to a group called “Get The L Out” and are determined to be removed from the same classification bracket as transgender individuals.

“A man who says he’s a lesbian is a rapist,” yelled one protestor, as they blocked off the annual “Pride” festival in London, brandishing various flags.
“Transactivism erases lesbians,” read one of the signs. Another read, “Lesbian = female homosexual.”
“Transgenderism is conversion therapy. Conversion therapy is wrong,” added protester Jan Williams,” according to The Daily Caller.
“The GBT community today, by supporting the rights of males who ‘identify as lesbians’ — also called ‘transwomen’ — over the rights of lesbians to choose their sexual partners on the basis of their sex, not how they ‘identify,’ is in fact enforcing heterosexuality on lesbians,” a Get The L Out protester told BBC News. “This is a misogynistic and anti-lesbian manifestation of the rape culture we live in.”
The protesters also distributed flyers explaining why they were so angry at the transgender movement. They believe that transgenderism is “coercing lesbians to have sex with men” and that it is a “vicious form of anti-lesbianism disguised as progress.”
For a while now, PRIDE has been a 'parade' rather than a 'march'.
Today it went back to its activist roots. Brava! #gettheLout

Organizers of the event were not happy about the protest, calling those involved “bigots.”
“The protest group showed a level of bigotry, ignorance and hate that is unacceptable. We reject what this group stands for. They do not share our values, which are about inclusion and respect and support for the most marginalized parts of our community,” the organizers told the BBC.
“Sadly we could not forcibly remove the group as their protest was not a criminal offense,” the added.
Chair of “LGBT+ Lib Dems,” Jennie Rigg, told the Independent that she was “appalled that transphobic protestors were allowed to lead the march and the crowd asked to cheer them on.”
Dear young trans folks @PrideInLondon today.
If you saw the banner take solace in the fact that there was a handful of anti trans folks followed by thousands of trans folks and our allies.

“This is a betrayal of the thousands marching,” she added. “The Pride organizers should resign and offer a full apology.”

A spokesman from London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed that their assistance was not required to remove the protesters:
“A small group at the front of the Pride in London parade were dealt with quickly and safely by event organizers at 1pm on Saturday. Police did not need to intervene. No arrests were made,” the department said in a statement.
Approximately 30,000 people marched in the parade, with an estimated one million onlookers lining the streets of London to watch the event.
