Jimmy Fallon hasn’t exactly discussed his personal views on political and social issues, but during a recent interview with Carrie Underwood, he unwittingly showed that despite having once held up a pro-choice t-shirt on his show, he at least appears to have some pro-life inclinations.
To be clear, Fallon has not indicated one way or another where he stands on the issue. He hasn’t explicitly stated his views on many political issues in the past.
But while Fallon’s personal views on the subject of abortion aren’t exactly clear, when he chatted with Underwood, he did what many people naturally do when speaking with someone who is pregnant: celebrate the life growing inside the womb.

“I think even bigger, cooler news — there’s a new baby on the way!” Fallon declared to excited cheers from the audience.
Fallon then actually talked to the baby:
“I’m so happy! Hi baby, it’s Jimmy. How are you!?” he said, again to approving applause from the audience.
“How exciting is this? Are you ready for this?” he asked Underwood, before inquiring if Carrie’s 3-year-old son knows what’s coming. “Does he know what’s coming, what to expect?”
This sort of questioning is, of course, completely appropriate and natural when talking to someone who is pregnant.
It is also, of course, completely contradictory to what pro-choice supporters preach.
Could you imagine if Fallon followed up that first question with, “so, are you going to carry the pregnancy to term or are you going to end the life growing inside your belly?”
Everyone would rightly be appalled at such a question. It would be disgusting and inappropriate — because whether we admit it or not, we all seem to know, as evidenced by our typical interactions, there’s a human in progress behind that burgeoning belly.
It remains one of the great mysteries as to why people can be appalled at even asking someone that question, but not appalled when a child growing in the womb is intentionally killed.
Culture softens the reality of what is happening by attempting to tweak language. They’ll use the terms fetus or zygote to describe the baby. As Live Action’s Lila Rose recently pointed out, those are simply different words for the same thing.
Did you know?
"Fetus" means "offspring" in Latin.
Calling a preborn child a "fetus" doesn't change her humanity.
Humans can only beget humans.
A zygote, embryo, fetus, infant, toddler are stages of human development.
Being less developed doesn't mean you're less human.

Fallon’s personal views on the issue may not be well known, but his instincts during a discussion with a pregnant woman reveal that deep down he, like many, understands what’s really happening inside the womb.
A human life is developing, from the very moment of conception when our DNA is created. Culture, Planned Parenthood, and pro-choicers everywhere can come up with all the various ways they’d like to try and distract from that fact.
But the fact remains, as Lila Rose said: being less developed doesn’t mean you’re less human.
Let’s pray God opens more eyes to the lie infecting culture and allowing so many innocent lives to be senselessly taken too soon.
