No one was injured following a freak accident in Arizona, where a white truck flipped through the air, after what could have been a deadly collision with a black car, and landed on top of a red sedan.
There were two people in the red sedan and one person each in the white truck and black car. All four people walked away uninjured because they were each wearing their seatbelt, authorities with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office told CNN.
“All the people involved were wearing their seatbelts,” authorities said in a press release. “This is the second accident this week where the use of seat belts has helped avert a tragedy and firefighters would once again like to remind everyone that the use of this simple device saves lives daily.”
The woman driving the white truck said she was driving down the road when another pickup truck “made contact with her,” causing her to lose control of the wheel. She then drifted into oncoming traffic, when she collided with the black car, which sent her truck flying into the air and onto a nearby red sedan.
Officials with the sheriff’s office described the outcome of the harrowing accident as “most remarkable.”
