An incredible moment was captured during Melania Trump’s recent trip to a Kenyan Orphanage. As well as dancing and playing with the young people and sharing many laughs, she was also prayed for! Despite this not likely being something that she expected to happen during her to visit to promote her child welfare initiative, “Be Best,” she still accepted the invitation graciously.

“Thank you for what you do and taking care of them,” Mrs. Trump told staff during her visit to the “The Nest Children’s Home” in Nairobi, before reading a story to a group of attentive children.
“In Kenya visiting children at The Nest Children’s Home impacted me greatly, & I so enjoyed the cultural performance at Kenya National Theatre,” Melania tweeted following her trip. “Thank you @FirstLadyKeny & U.S. Embassy staff for making me feel so welcome.”

The First Lady has visited Ghana, Malawi, Kenya and Egypt.
“When I launched ‘Be Best,’ it was with the goal of combating some of the issues that children face today by shining a spotlight on successful programs and organizations that teach children the tools and skills needed for emotional, social and physical well-being,” Trump said of her initiative, according to CNN. “Since the launch, I have had the opportunity to meet children all over the world, with the goal of talking to them about the importance of healthy living and responsible habits.”
The White House website describes the mission of BE BEST as being to “focus on some of the major issues facing children today, with the goal of encouraging children to BE BEST in their individual paths, while also teaching them the importance of social, emotional, and physical health.”
