The new President of abortion business Planned Parenthood has said the work of her organization is centered around “saving lives.” Dr. Leana Wen, the woman who recently took over leadership from Cecile Richards, said in an interview with CBS This Morning that Planned Parenthood was providing “life-saving care” to millions of Americans every year. What she failed to mention, however, was that the abortion business also kills over 300,000 unborn babies each year.
“As a doctor, I am proud to lead our organization as we deliver life-saving care to two and half a million people every year,” Wen, the former Baltimore health commissioner, told the outlet. Clearly attempting to steer away from any discussion about the barbaric acts that take place in Planned Parenthood clinics across the country, Wen repeatedly referred to abortive procedures as “women’s health care,” noting that “health care shouldn’t be political.”
In a recent interview with Elle, Wen went further, arguing that abortion is being “stigmatized and attacked,” and that “there are things being done to women’s health care that we would never consider doing to anything else.”
However, “anything else,” as it refers to healthcare, is likely to result in the butchering of 300,000 innocent lives on a yearly basis.
“It’s about saving people’s lives,” the emergency room physician continued. “That’s the work that we’ve done at Planned Parenthood for over 100 years. And I’m proud to keep on providing health care and protecting access to that care.”
Bizarrely, Wen also added that her one-year-old son “had a lot to do with” why she took on “this huge obligation,” noting to CBS that “being a parent has clarified my values.”
The medic said that she “respect each person’s beliefs” but takes issue “if they want to impose their own beliefs on other people.”
“As a physician, I trust my patients,” she said. “My job is to give medically accurate information to my patients and allow them to make the best choices about their health. I don’t think that politicians have any role to play in the exam room in determining people’s personal medical decisions. I trust women.”
Planned Parenthood has aborted a staggering 6,803,782 babies between 1978 and 2014, according to CNSNews. It has also been involved in numerous scandals, including the selling of fetal remains and failing to adequately report the sexual abuse of young girls who had been brought to its clinics.
