Jimmy Fallon, host of “The Tonight Show” on NBC, gave a big shout-out to Operation Blessing Tuesday night, when he surprised one unsuspecting couple in the studio audience by telling them the Christian charity and The Home Depot teamed up to repair their home, which was damaged by Hurricane Florence earlier this year.

Sitting at his desk on stage, Fallon called on Divya and Terry McArthur of Lumberton, North Carolina. The couple was speechless when the late-night host greeted them.
“Your house is a very special house. Why is it special to you?” Fallon asked. In response, Divya McArthur said the home was very important to her because it was left to her by her grandmother.
The MacArthurs and their 12-year-old son were hit by Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and again by Hurricane Florence in early September. In an interview with CBN, Divya McArthur described the saga as “a nightmare.”

“But Romans 8:28 says, ‘All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord,’” she said, “so that’s where I’m finding peace.”

Thanks to Operation Blessing and The Home Depot, Fallon told the MacArthurs they would be given new floors, new insulation, a new roof and brand new furnishings picked out by an interior designer.
“All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord,” Divya MacArthur said in response.
