As part of an ongoing attempt to portray abortion as appealing and relevant, the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws (NARAL) thought it would be cute to post an abortion-related tweet for National Cake Day on Monday.
New Low? Abortion Activists Harass Prominent Pro-Lifers With ‘Rape Porn’
The photo, taken by a progressive baker-blogger known as “The Sweet Feminist,” features a cake iced with the phrase “Abortion Is Healthcare.”
This #NationalCakeDay (and every other day tbh) we’re pro-choice, pro-cake! 🎂 pic.twitter.com/YWwEpb1hlw

“This #NationalCakeDay (and every other day tbh) we’re pro-choice, pro-cake!” NARAL tweeted.
But not everyone found the message quite so “sweet.” Many pro-life Twitter users were quick to denounce the group’s flippancy toward an issue as grave as abortion.

Nice cake @NARAL. Did you cut it up and sell the pieces? https://t.co/38N4Za7Lvi

“Anti-birthday cake, I presume,” one user replied.
“Can the baby have a slice,” wrote another.
“This is disgraceful,” another tweeted.
African pro-life activist Obianuju Ekeocha responded to the tweet with some confectionary activism of her own:

Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time the pro-abortion camp has used the innocuous guise of cake to promote the killing of unborn children. As one Twitter user pointed out, the group #ShoutYourAbortion once shared a photo of cake iced with the words “Abortion Is Normal.”

The Sweet Feminist’s Instagram account features dozens of cakes donning pro-abortion slogans like “Keep Abortion Legal,” “Abortion Isn’t a Bad Word” and “Pro-Choice Is The Right Choice,” along with other progressive messages on immigration, climate change and “sex work.”
For some, however, there’s just no way to sugar-coat murder.
