Faith-based publisher Zonderkids — Zondervan’s children’s chapter — has released a new illustrated Bible, “Brick Builders,” geared toward 6- to 10-year-old kids.
During the Christmas season, when so much of American culture is pushing commercialism and gift-giving (and receiving), this new Zonderkids’ Bible is the perfect present for children. While it puts a new twist on Scripture with unique and engaging illustrations, it stays true to the foundational stories of the Christian faith.
The children’s Bible features 35 stories from both the Old and New Testaments, which are brought “to life with the bold, colorful illustrations and child-friendly text.”
In addition to each Bible story in the book, each Scripture passage includes a “Building Block” takeaway that apply to and are written for children between the ages of 6 and 10.
“What better way to bring the family together than with the ‘Brick Builder’s Illustrated Bible,’ perfect for readers of all ages,” the book’s description states.
Zonderkids also recently released an updated version of the “Adventure Bible,” which was originally released in with a safari theme and has sold more than nine million copies.

The new “Adventure Bible” is polar themed, taking children threw a collection of biblical stories as they journey through Scripture with a “frosty” theme.
