Rapper Kanye West, who has garnered a lot of attention in recent months for his past support of President Donald Trump, tweeted a link to a Bible verse earlier this week.
On Monday, West posted Hebrews 3:12-13, which reads:
Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end. As it is said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

West told his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, in 2013 that he is a Christian, adding, “It’s important to me that I grow and walk and raise my family with Christian values.”
And over the summer, West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, told Vogue her family is “really religious.”
“We start our day with a group chat with a Bible verse from my mom, and everyone chimes in on the meaning of it,” she revealed. “We are very Christian — and our work ethic and our discipline comes from so many years at Catholic school.”

The founder of the YouVersion Bible app, Bobby Gruenewald, thanked West for sharing a Scripture passage on the popular app and admitted it’s his “favorite app,” too.
