Pop singer Justin Bieber just added another faith-inspired tattoo to his body. This time, it’s on his face.
Tattoo artist Jonboy, whose real name is Jonathan Valena, shared the first photo of Bieber’s new “grace” tattoo, which is right above the singer’s left eyebrow, on Instagram.
This latest marking will add to Bieber’s more than 50 other tattoos, many of which are inspired by his Christian faith. Valena was even encouraged by Bieber and the “grace” tattoo.
“I’m reminded what my purpose in this world is through people like [Bieber] who get tattooed by me and share your life of struggles, anxieties, lost love ones, memories and victories through these little tattoos that have some of the biggest meaning behind them,” Valena wrote.
The tattooist went on to thank all of his clients from 2018, adding, “I love you all! God’s grace is sufficient in our weakness and it is by God’s love we are here for 2019!”
Bieber has a history of getting tattoos that symbolize his faith. In 2011, when he was just 17 years old, the “Sorry” singer got the Hebrew word for “Yeshua” — or Jesus — tattooed on the right side of his ribcage.
The 24-year-old celebrity has since added several Christian tattoos on his body.
