Actresses Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley have always been open about their faith, noting the large role it plays in their lives.
After losing their grandmother this week, the sisters, who rose to fame while starring in the hit show “Sister, Sister,” told their followers that they are turning to God in this time of tragedy. Tia and Tamara took to Instagram to announce that after fighting a battle against cancer, their grandmother had gone home to be with the Lord.

Before her grandmother passed, Tamera shared a photo of them holding hands.
“Grandma Clo,” she wrote, “You are the strongest person I know. You are the matriarch of our family. Every good thing trickles down from you. You amaze me every day with your strength and unconditional love. Your obedience and love towards our Heavenly Father is admirable. Love you so so so much. #cancersucks.”
Just this past November, Tamera and her husband Adam Housley, a former Fox News correspondent, experienced tragedy when they lost their niece Alaina Housley in the California bar shooting.
In wake of the loss of her niece, Tamera also turned to God.
