A Texas father is caught in an intense custody battle with his ex-wife over their 6-year-old son, who identifies as a transgender girl named “Luna.”
The mother treats their son, James, like a transgender girl and has demanded her ex-husband, Jeffrey Younger, follow suit. But in a recently released podcast, Younger accused his former wife of “sexual abuse.”
“Now imagine how you would feel seeing what I believe is actual sexual abuse — I believe this is not just emotional abuse but is the very, most fundamental form of sexual abuse, tampering with the sexual identity of a vulnerable boy,” Younger explained to Luke Macias, a political consultant.
Younger said when he communicates with his son via FaceTime, he sees him dressed up “as a drag queen.” The father added, “He has false eyelashes and makeup. His hair has got glitter in it. He’s wearing a dress.”
The Texas dad told Macias how difficult it is, as a parent, to stay calm when he sees his son being treated like a transgender girl “every single day.”
“The courts are not going to be fair to you,” Younger said. “And the only way you can survive this and get your son through this alive, is to calmly allow your son to be tortured right before your eyes and outlast the opposition. That’s what it’s like.”

Younger has been fighting this custody battle against his ex-wife for a few months. In late November, he told The Federalist his son acts as “Luna” when he’s with his mother but “violently refuses to wear girl’s clothes at my home.”
James’ mother — a pediatrician — has been taking their son to a gender-affirming therapist and is seeking to strip Younger of his parental rights and force him to assist in payments to the counselor.
