A startling photo circulating on Twitter and then Facebook that featured an image, purportedly taken by a student at UC San Diego, shows a snapshot of a disturbing and dehumanizing lesson being taught in class.
“Parallels between fetuses and cancers” the jarring slide is titled. It features images of an unborn baby (fetus) and a few bullet point descriptions.
“The fetus: a legitimate parasite” the first line reads, in a blatant attempt to liken the growing baby to growing cancer. It “rapidly grows” just like cancer as well, the slide explains.
The baby, just like cancer, “invades” the body, according to the classroom material. Students can be seen in the picture diligently taking notes.
Incredibly, the image of the unborn baby is one that clearly shows a human in the early stages of development. Using the phrase ‘fetus’ is a common tactic used by pro-choice proponents in an attempt to dehumanize the unborn.
Fetus, however, is simply Latin for offspring, bringing forth, or “hatching of the young.” Merriam-Webster defines fetus as “a developing human from usually two months after conception to birth.”
Dylan Griswold posted the photo to Twitter, saying a friend sent him the picture. The class title was “biology of disease” according to Griswold, who says “as all ‘woke’ medical students know, pregnancy is a disease. Abortion is the remedy. “
It’s sad to think about the countless students who attend universities and hear lectures like this — because many will likely take it at face value and not question.
Some who have been raised in the faith may question everything they know and become confused. We’re living in a time where reality and truth matter less and less – personal preference reigns supreme. And today, people would rather rationalize and justify the murder of the unborn than admit the truth: a ‘fetus’ is a human being, with equal rights and dignity just like the rest of us, who deserve protection, respect, and care.
Instead, they are targeted in the crosshairs of convenience, discarded whenever fear, selfishness, or evil lurks.
Pray for God to open more eyes and protect those who are suffering an onslaught of indoctrination like that which is shown in this classroom setting.
