A pro-life physician has called for a miraculous spirit-filled conversion for the Democratic lawmaker who harasses a group of pro-life teenagers outside a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood. The Pro-Life Rally Against Bullying was organized in response to Rep. Brian Sims harassing teenage pro-life advocates outside the abortion clinic.
“Even those who persecute us, we are called to love,” declared pro-life OBGYN Dr. Monique Rubero, the first speaker at the event. “We are called to love the mothers, love the babies and love the [abortion] workers.”
Praying for Rep. Sims, Rubero declared that, “whatever holes are in his soul, we pray they would be filled by the Holy Spirit.”
“We pray for him to be filled with God’s grace,” she added, before asking God for a “Saul to Paul conversion.”
Sims did not show up to the rally, which saw hundreds of pro-lifers gather together in support of the unborn.
‘We will not be intimidated’
In a rousing speech, conservative commentator Matt Walsh personally responded to “bully” Brian Sims.
“We are sending a message to bullies like Brian Sims. We will not be intimidated, we will not be silenced,” Walsh declared, to rapturous applause. “If you try to shut us up, we are only going to get louder.”
He continued: “We know that our cause is just. We know that we are right and we are firm in that truth. We have truth on our side and we will wield it like a sword to protect the unborn.”
Posing a question to Sims, he said, “Can you look us in the eyes and tell us why you think babies should be killed? If we cannot see the worth and value in a child, then who can we see it in?”
Walsh went on to say that “abortion is not a reproductive issue” as the left would label it, because at point of abortion, “reproduction has already taken place.”
“Why do we care so much about this issue?” Matt asked, “because life is precious — that’s it, that’s our entire argument.”
“Let the children live,” Walsh finished. “Let them live!”
