A PBS documentary about abortion has gone viral after pro-life activist Obianuju Ekeocha shared a short clip to her twitter feed.
In the clip, a pregnant woman nonchalantly takes the abortion pill in order to terminate her pregnancy of twins, while explaining that it wasn’t a good time for her to deal with two new babies.
Obianuju Ekeocha, who tweeted the video Tuesday morning, pointed out that the woman “airbrushes abortion to make it look like some healthy new age practice.”
“The woman in blue is pregnant with twins and she is filmed here taking the abortion pill to kill them,” Ekeocha added. “You witness their killing. And her statement at the end is chilling.”
The clip shows phones ringing off the hook at an abortion clinic, with a large group of women fielding calls and setting up abortion appointments.
The video details a woman with a smile on her face, wearing a blue dress who is at the clinic to take an abortion pill.
Throughout the short video, a smiling woman, wearing a blue dress and a full face of makeup, can be seen nonchalantly taking her first pill in the abortion pill series. The second pill will be taken 24 hours after the first, according to a health care practitioner who is seeing her in the office.
At the end of the video clip, after she has taken the first abortion pill, she explains how she hopes to feel at peace for choosing not to bring the “two beings” into the world.
“What I hope I feel is a sense of peace, not only with myself and the decision that I have made but also a sense of peace with these two beings that I have chosen not to bring into the world,” she said.
Things got even more disturbing when she addressed her about to be dead children:
“Thank you for choosing me and I’m honored to be given this gift of life and also I can’t do it right now,” she says. “I can’t accept that mantle in terms of the other lives I’m taking care of and responsible for.”
