As Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson encountered her fair share of abortionists. At the time, they were simply colleagues who had a job to do. Now, as a leading pro-life advocate, Johnson sees the acts committed by these physicians as barbaric and is working tirelessly to outlaw their profession.
However, the reality is that many of these individuals are simply blind to the unspeakable darkness of their own actions. To them, taking an innocent life has become routine; it is void of any emotion.
Abby believes that needs to change.
So, alongside calling out these abortionists, Johnson is also committed to encouraging others to pray for these doctors; that they might see the light and be struck the stark reality of what they are doing: taking innocent lives.
One such individual who clearly has no issue with the sordid practice is Dr. Leroy Carhart, a late-term abortion specialist. Faithwire reported on Carhart back in August when, in comments made to the BBC, he admitted that he was, in fact, killing a ‘baby’ and not a ‘fetus’ when he terminates the life of a human child.
“So, you don’t have a problem with killing a baby?” the reporter asked.
“I have no problem if it’s in the mother’s uterus,” Carhart replied, coldly.
Johnson posted a picture of Carhart recently, confirming this disturbingly blasé outlook on his own profession. The picture, taken at Carhart’s work birthday party, shows him next to a sign which reads:
“Even on my worst days, I’M KILLING IT.”
Commenting on the sign, Johnson wrote: “You know, at least he’s honest. Eternity will be very scary for him unless he finds repentance. I pray he finds it’s very, very soon.”
Speaking to Faithwire, Johnson qualified that abortionists are not beyond the grace and the reach of God.
“As Christians, we are called to love others and pray for them, no exceptions,” she explained. “This is especially true of abortion clinic workers and doctors. I was loved out of the industry and it’s my own hope that we can do the same for every abortion clinic worker and every abortion doctor.”
The “LoveLine” founder added that through her pro-life organization “And Then There Were Were None,” her team “have helped more than 530 workers not only get out of the industry but find healing.”
“Never underestimate what God can do,” she said.
Amen! Keep praying for all those involved in the abortion industry, that God might speak to into their hearts and cause them to see the grim reality of their work.
