“We’re trusting God.”
Those were the words of an American pastor after being quarantined in a Palestinian hotel in Bethlehem while on a mission trip in Israel.
While there, Israeli Prime Minister decided to put everyone who comes from outside the country on mandatory quarantine.

After many discussions, the extreme measure was taken in order to protect citizens from exposure to the Coronavirus. This decision turned Ben Gurion airport into almost a ghost town.
CBN’s Chris Mitchell spoke with a church group coming from Alabama, who were quarantined in Bethlehem after staff at the hotel they were staying at tested positive for the Coronavirus.
“We’re trusting God every day that He has a plan in all of this and He’s going to see us through it,” said Chris Bell, Pastor of 3 Circle Church in Fairhope, Alabama.
And indeed that’s exactly what happened.
According to Fox 10:
13 members of 3 Circle Church in Fairhope had been quarantined since Wednesday after a former guest and several staff members at the hotel they were staying atat tested positive for COVID 19 strain of the virus.
A Palestinian radio station caught their release on camera and posted it to social media. Despite being escorted by armed guards with masks — the church members appeared relieved in the video as they were leaving the hotel — even waving at the cameras. It’s certainly answered prayers — Lead Pastor Chris Bell telling FOX 10 News via Facetime last week the group was desperate to get home.
“Of course we all want to be home. We want them to fly us to the United States as quickly as possible,” said Bell.
