It’s an interesting time for Christians. Some would say it’s an opportune time to be the light of Christ, to show peace in the midst of pandemic, and to provide hope in a time of uncertainty.
Yet, to be good neighbors right now essentially means to not be neighbors at all. This is the paradox Christians find themselves in today: how do we help others and show the love of Christ if we literally cannot use our hands and feet to venture out into the world and engage?
I spoke with Caitlin Burke on her podcast this week and discussed this and other aspects of how Christians should be responding during this ever-evolving pandemic. From panic-buying to evangelizing to what the Bible says about times like these, it was a great discussion — a great listen for any Christian looking to navigate this crisis well.
