In Seattle, the mayor ordered police to retreat out of their precinct. This has led to something called CHAZ (Capital Hill Autonomous Zone) and has been met with heavy criticism for allowing protesters to take over several city blocks and illegally occupy it.
Miami Police have a very different approach to protesters who aggressively attack a moving police car — they immediately exited their vehicle and subdued unruly protesters with force.

Ironically, the protesters appear shocked that police would use force on someone — even though several protesters are jumping on the moving police car while others attempt to smash it with skateboards and other foreign objects.
“Look at the cops!” one protester can be heard yelling, seemingly oblivious to the fact one of their fellow protesters just violently attacked a police vehicle with officers inside.
While the media frequently describes the protests as “mostly peaceful” it is clear there is more violence than being shown. Many have died at the hands of protesters, including a former officer in David Dorn and an Oakland officer named David Patrick Underwood, who was 53 years-old and killed by protesters.
Both men are black, which only brings further questions to a movement supposedly built on helping black people gain equality and justice.
Prayers for all police officers in this tumultuous time.
