Twin brothers Fred and Tim Williams may have crossed your screen recently with one of their now infamous “First Time Hearing” reaction videos (if not, definitely check them out, you will not be disappointed). Thanks to their newfound success, however, “Twinsthenewtrend” hosts are praising God for answering a long standing prayer request.
Williams posted a v-log yesterday in which he thanked fans for their support, while adding that it’s such a blessing to be able to go buy a car, something he’s been praying for “forever.”
“I thank God for the opportunity I have to get this car,” Williams said. “It’s only God willing I’m able to even get this car. I appreciate the fan-love support, but God always first for everything. I’ve been praying for this forever, like for real. It’s just a dream come true, man.”
The twins’ videos are always fun and positive, seeking to find the artistic message and beauty in each song they come across, no matter what the genre. They, quite ingeniously, ask fans to send them in requests for songs to review. They pick a request that’s gaining traction among fans, and deliver an always-satisfying reaction to hearing the song for the first time.
Their big break came after their reaction to hearing Phil Collins “In the Air Tonight” went viral. The song has a long, delayed build up before the beat finally kicks in, and the brothers are shocked when it finally drops.
“They’re sleepin’ on me, time to wake ’em up!” the pair repeats with delight.
It’s great to see that despite their instant fame and notoriety they’re still keeping their perspective firmly planted on faith, giving God the glory and crediting him above all else for the blessings they receive.
It was also a fantastic car selection – one he’ll be pleased with for years to come!
