Lil Nas X, the recording artist behind the 2019 hit “Old Town Road,” encouraged a fan to get an abortion after she wrote in the comments section of one of the entertainer’s Instagram posts: “I think I’m pregnant.”
In response, the rapper, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, told the fan: “Congratulations! Get rid of it.”
Lil Nas X later said the comment came from “a boy” and he meant his response to be a joke, but, after the pro-life group Live Action published a story on the interaction, the singer-songwriter mocked the organization founded by Lila Rose.
“No one cares, ratio,” he tweeted in response to a post from Live Action.

“Tens of millions of Americans DO CARE that 2,400 babies are being murdered every day,” read a tweet in response to Lil Nas X.
The celebrity rapper spoke out about abortion during a recent appearance on “The Nitty Gritty Podcast” with a woman identified only as Tamara, who said a woman’s life “is over” once she has a baby.
Lil Nas X and Tamara argued they don’t believe “old white men” should be allowed to make a statement about decisions women make.
Live Action ultimately told Lil Nas X he “encouraged the brutal slaughter of innocent children” to his millions of social media followers.
“It’s disgusting,” added the pro-life group. “Do better.”
Regardless of the intention, you encouraged the brutal slaughter of innocent children to your 6 million followers.
