Another “Mandalorian” actor — this time WWE star Sasha Banks — is under the gun because of an Instagram post she reportedly “liked.”
The post the Disney+ actor reacted to on social media was a slideshow featuring a series of memes making light of pandemic restrictions as well as a couple pictures calling into question the safety of COVID-19 vaccinations.
One of the slides suggested the vaccines were meant to sterilize people while the other claimed vaccine researchers skipped animal trials “because all animals were dying [and] went directly to people.”

It should be noted there appears to be no evidence to suggest any of the inoculations against COVID-19 cause problems with fertility. Furthermore, it’s untrue that researchers skipped animal testing during their trials.
It’s also possible Banks didn’t see these particular slides, which weren’t at the beginning of the Instagram post in question. There is no way to know whether the 29-year-old celebrity scrolled through every image in the post.
The person who first discovered Banks’ Instagram activity condemned the star and mocked anyone who might come to her defense.
Several news sites have since published articles raising questions about Banks’ decision to “like” the post on Instagram.
One outlet, MEAWW, posted a piece asking if Banks is an “anti-vaxxer.”
“The 29-year-old WWE icon, who retreated from the ring for a while after her devastating loss against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 2021, was ‘canceled’ by a legion of disappointed fans on Twitter,” read the report. “Banks was apparently spotted liking anti-vaccination content on Instagram, prompting people to immediately brand her as an ‘anti-vaxxer.'”
“While the WWE star is yet to issue any formal statement on the matter, she was lambasted all over social media by furious fans,” it continued. “Her anti-vaxxer stance sparked severe criticism, especially at a time when the world is grappling with a raging pandemic.”

Banks, of course, is not the first “Mandalorian” star to come under fire.
In February, Disney cut ties with Banks’ now-former co-star Gina Carano after she warned via a meme that today’s increasingly divisive culture is laying the groundwork for the demonization of other people, explaining that’s ultimately what happened in Nazi Germany.
Carano has since signed a movie deal with The Daily Wire, a conservative media outlet founded by author Ben Shapiro.
